I was born during the year of what I like to call “Our Great Space Opera”…

You may know that year as 1977 when the legendary movie Star Wars The New Hope was released in a handful of theaters across the county. In my hometown that screening created a blockbusting event with folks hungry for a good story.

Good stories are essential to living with soul and good storytelling is a powerful means to live heroically. I have known this from my first memory of being alive.

My life begin not with the same spectacular fan fare of that great film but it was warmly celebrated by two of my greatest allies in the world: My Mom and Dad.

I was their early Christmas gift.
